Born in Nairobi, Built for Kenya

CH Studios was founded in the heart of Nairobi with a single, powerful belief: that Kenya's creative talent deserves a world-class platform. From the vibrant streets of Eastlands to the music studios of Westlands, too many stories were going untold. Too many artists lacked reach. Too much brilliance stayed hidden.

We set out to change that. CH Studios is more than a streaming platform — it's a community, a launchpad, and a stage for Kenya's next generation of storytellers, musicians, filmmakers, dancers, spoken word artists, and visual creatives.

From Nairobi to Mombasa, Kisumu to Nakuru, our creators are redefining what Kenyan content looks and sounds like — and the world is watching. We are proudly Kenyan, and our roots give us purpose.

How We Got Here

2023 Q1

The Idea

CH Studios is born in a Nairobi coffee shop — a response to the lack of a dedicated premium platform for Kenyan creative talent. The mission: give Kenya's creatives the stage they deserve.

2023 Q3

Building Begins

A small Nairobi-based team of developers and creatives begin building the platform, with a focus on design excellence and a creator-first experience.

2024 Q1

Beta Launch

CH Studios opens to a private beta of 50 selected Kenyan creators across Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu. Early feedback from local creators shapes the product.

2024 Q2

Subscription Model

Free and premium tiers launch with M-Pesa integration. The first 1,000 Kenyan subscribers sign up within the opening month — proof that the market was ready.

2024 Q4

Public Launch

CH Studios opens to all Kenyan creators and viewers. The platform reaches 10,000 registered users and 500+ approved videos by year end — a proud Kenyan milestone.

2025+

Kenya & Beyond

Expanding reach across Kenya and into the wider East African community. New creator monetisation tools, live streaming, and a mobile app optimised for Kenyan networks are on the roadmap.
